Engineered Timber Floor Boards

Engineered hardwood flooring combines the sophistication of solid timber with a quality multi‐ layer cross‐ply construction.

The board consists of a 4mm thick top layer which is manufactured from solid hardwood timber and the 8mm thick base is made from layers of top quality plywood.

These floor boards fits together using a tongue and groove system and all products are end matched. The boards are precision‐milled, providing a square edge for a smooth continuous surface. The hardwood top layer can be re‐sanded and re‐coated, in the same way as traditional solid timber floors.

Engineered flooring boards are pre-finished with a scratch resistant mid‐gloss UV cured acrylic coating.

These boards are easy to install and are designed to be laid over any level, structurally sound subfloor such as a concrete slab, plywood, existing tiles or timber flooring. Where good noise proofing is important, such as in multi-level dwellings, we recommend lay the boards on a suitable underlay.
