Bamboo Floor Boards

Bamboo floor boards are manufactured from specially selected bamboo that is harvested from sustainable forests. The bamboo stalks are grown to maturity prior to harvesting to ensure the strength and quality of the product.  It is treated against fungal attack and insect infestation and then kiln dried. The dried bamboo is then fused together under high pressure and temperature to form hard, durable board profile.  

Aesthetically it looks like timber and is stained to produce a large range of beautiful, decorative finishes. 

These boards are given up to 13 layers of protective coatings to make them UV resistant, scratch resistant, moisture resistant, colourfast, stain resistant, and fade resistant.
